Privacy Policy
Poker Timer Pro is a home poker tournament clock made by Remotion (contact: apps@remotion.pl). This policy explains what the app keeps on your phone, what it sends to our service providers, how long data is kept, and how you can delete it. The app works without an account.
1. Data that stays on your device
Your settings, saved tournaments and blind structures, chip sets, payout rules, sound and voice settings, theme and the tournament in progress are stored on your device. Voice announcements use your phone's built-in text-to-speech, and level alerts are local notifications scheduled on your phone. None of this is sent to us.
2. Data we process on servers
Anonymous app ID
When the app starts, it creates a random, anonymous Firebase ID for your installation. It does not contain your name or email, and you never sign in. We use it to keep your tournament history, to link your purchases, and to know which data is yours if you ask us to delete it.
Tournament history
When a tournament is completed, the app saves its result to Google Cloud Firestore: the structure name, start and end time, and number of levels. If you track players during the game, the result also includes the player names you type, finishing places, chip counts, prizes, rebuys, add-ons and knockouts, and the names are kept in your player list. This powers Statistics and Players. Please use first names or nicknames, and only for people who agree.
Feedback you send
When you use Send Feedback, we receive your message, the reply email if you enter one, the app version and build, platform, language, theme, whether you have Premium, and your anonymous app ID.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app ID and your purchase history to unlock Premium and restore purchases. We never see your payment details.
Analytics
Google Analytics for Firebase receives app usage events (for example, a tournament started, a theme chosen or the paywall shown), counts and settings, app version, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, an app-instance identifier and, on Android, the advertising ID. Events never include player names or the text of your feedback.
Ads (free version only)
The free version shows full-screen ads from Google AdMob only at a break or after a tournament, never during a level. AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address (approximate location), ad interactions and diagnostics, and Google uses this data as an independent ad network. In the EU/EEA and UK we ask for your consent first; on iOS, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking. Premium users see no ads.
3. Service providers
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics) – Google LLC. Firebase privacy.
- Google AdMob and Google's consent tool (UMP) – Google LLC. How Google uses data in ads.
- RevenueCat – RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat privacy.
- Google Play and Apple App Store – purchases, downloads and ratings, under their own policies.
All data sent from the app is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell your data.
4. How long we keep data

5. How to delete your data
From the app (recommended): open Settings › About › Send Feedback, write "Delete my data", turn on I'd like a reply, enter Your email and tap Send. The message carries your anonymous app ID, so we know which data is yours. We delete your tournament history, player list, feedback, anonymous ID and purchase profile within 30 days and confirm by email. Records we must keep under tax law stay with the stores and RevenueCat.
By email: write to apps@remotion.pl with the subject "Poker Timer – delete my data". Because you never sign in, we cannot identify your data from an email address alone, so please also send the request from the app as above.
Single players: Premium users can remove a player in Settings › Players.
Uninstalling removes the data on your device, but not your tournament history on our servers. Ask us to delete it as described above.
Ads and tracking: in the EU/EEA and UK you can change your ad consent in Settings › About › Privacy options. You can also reset your advertising ID in Android settings, or change tracking in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

6. Your rights (EU/EEA and UK)
Remotion is the controller of the data described above. We process it to provide the app and the features you use (tournament history, purchases, feedback: performance of a contract), to keep the app reliable and improve it (analytics: legitimate interest), and to show personalised ads where you have consented. You can ask us for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time, and you may complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: UODO).
7. Children
Poker Timer Pro is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new date.
